Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Scholarship 2019

Candidates are invited for Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Scholarship 2019 from Pakistani/AJK nationals. This scholarship is announced by Chulabhorn Graduate Institute as Post-graduate Scholarship Program (2019), in Thailand.

These scholarships are offered for Master’s Degree (18 years education). On the basis of the academic merit, potential of the candidate, plus likely impact of work on the development of Pakistan, the awards will be made.

For MS, the HEC Scholarships 2018 will cover:

  • tuition fees
  • all academic fees
  • Round airfare ticket
  • accommodation
  • monthly stipend
  • book allowance
  • health insurance and others.

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship:

Applicants are eligible for this scholarship, who meet the following criteria:

  • Under 30 years of age
  • Hold 16 years Bachelor Degree, with CGPA of at least 3.00 to 4.00 in any one of the following fields:
    1. Sciences: Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences.
    2. Medical Sciences: Medicine, Medical Technology.
    3. Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • Should have experience in scientific laboratory research.
  • Must have demonstrated English proficiency,more good if passed one of two recognized test of English language proficiency: (TOEFL or IELTS)
  • Candidates should provide a statement of purpose, explaining their interests in the study.

Fields of Study:

For Master’s Degree (18 years education), the scholarships are offered in the following fields of study:

Applied Biological Sciences:

  • Environmental Health
  • Environmental Toxicology
  • Chemical Biology

Scholarship Coverage:

  • Sustainable period of award: six weeks of refresher courses in June 2019, followed by 2 years period of Master Degree. This is subject to an annual review of the scholar’s satisfactory progress.
  • The Scholarship will cover:
  1. Tuition fees
  2. all academic fees
  3. round airfare ticket
  4. accommodation
  5. monthly stipend
  6. book allowance
  7. health insurance and others.

  • Apply online at HEC websitehttp://eportal.hec.gov.pk/loa.
  • After registering your profile, select “Learning Opportunities Abroad”.
  • Get printed copy of the application after its submission, to be signed & stamped by the employer.
  • Attach deposit slip of Rs. 300 (original) through HEC online Account No. i.e. 17427900133401 in HBL, Shalimar Recording Company, Branch: H-9, Islamabad.
  • Payments are to be made to HEC, through HBL online facility.
  • This facility is available in all branches of Habib Bank Ltd across Pakistan.

Required Documents:

For your own convenience, keep ready two sets of printed copy of Scholarship application forms in a separate spiral binding, with following documents for Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Scholarship:

  1. Statement of purpose explaining their interests in the study (Statement of Purpose).
  2. Research Proposal.
  3.  Attested copies of all Academic Degrees & Transcripts.
  4. Two passport size photographs.
  5. Letter of Recommendation. (Letter of Recommendation)
  6. Medical certificate.
  7. Certificate of English language proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS).
  8. NOC from employer (for serving candidates).
  9. One copy of HEC application form with bank deposit slip (original) separately.

Please Note:

However, at the time of online application to HEC, you need not to send the hard copies of the above-mentioned documents. The above documents will be asked by HEC from the shortlisted applicants only at a later stage of the selection process.
