The International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) Fund Scholarship and Hardship Fund is ready to offer number awards for students pursuing master program in Development Studies.
ISS established two funds (scholarship fund and hardship fund) to support students without any other form of scholarship. Both funds are available to Dutch and international students who wish to enlist in the Master of Arts in Development Studies at ISS. Students need to have a letter of confirmation from ISS.
This fund can provide a fee discount of up to 30% educational cost charge.

Eligibility and Criteria:
The ISS Scholarship Fund is available for students with significant work experience, a degree in one of the sociologies (upper second or first class) and a solid inspiration to learn at ISS, or recent graduates with a first class degree in one of the sociologies and a solid inspiration to learn at ISS. Students who don’t agree with the criteria for the scholarship fund for excellent students but do not have adequate means to pay whole educational cost charge can apply to the ISS Hardship Fund.
There is no nationality restriction.
All applicants are required to submit a request explaining shortly the reason why a fee reduction will enlarge your opportunity to study at ISS and include detailed financial information (including supporting bank statements) to prove your ability to support yourself for the educational cost charge, everyday costs, and medical coverage.
