Rotary Peace Scholarship Program 2020 is now accepting applications from international students, who are dedicated to pursuing their Master’s degree and Certificate Studies at one of the top universities in the world.

Rotary Peace fellowship is offering total of 130 Fully-Funded scholarships, from which 80 scholarships are for Certificate Degree Program and 50 for Masters Degree.

Rotary Peace Centers develop the capacity of peace and development professionals to become experienced and effective catalysts for peace, by academic trainings, practice, and global networking opportunities.

Since the program began in 2002, the Rotary Peace Centers have trained more than 1,300 fellows who now work in more than 115 countries. Many serve as leaders in governments, NGOs, the military, education, law enforcement, and international organizations like the United Nations and the World Bank. This is really a great opportunity for which students from all around the world can apply.

For Certificate Programs:

  • Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand
  • Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda

Financial Benefits

Rotary Peace Fellowship is a Fully Funded Scholarship that covers All the Expenses of selected students, like:

  • Tuition Fees
  • Room and Board Fees
  • Round-Trip Airfare Transportation
  • Internship and Field Study Expenses

Eligibility Criteria

For Master Degree Program:

  • Be Proficient in English
  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Have a strong commitment to cross-cultural understanding and peace (as shown through professional and academic achievements and personal or community services)
  • Potential for Leadership
  • Have at least three years of full-time experience in peace or development work

Note: Applicants who are an active Rotary member, employee of a Rotary club, Rotary International, or other Rotary entity will not be eligible for the scholarship.

For Certificate Program:

  • Be proficient in English
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree
  • Have a strong commitment to cross-cultural understanding and peace (as shown through professional and academic achievements and personal or community services)
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
  • Be able to explain how their plan to promote peace aligns with Rotary’s mission
  • Candidates for Makerere University: Either be from the region or currently working in the region.
